Blended Boil potatoes, peel, smash, medium heat in oil, cook mustard seed, cumin, (Curry leaves), potatoes, tumeric, salt. Chaat masala -homemade Sev (chickpea flower noodles) Cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, beets, chaat, (cheese), soft butter, Hard Fry Top with chutney or toppings or sev Coriander mint chutney Boiled potatoes with masala Buttered bread, combined all together. Chutney: Mint, cilantro, garlic, ginger, green chillies, lemon, salt, water (bread?) Blended Boil potatoes, peel, smash, medium heat in oil, cook mustard seed, cumin, (Curry leaves), potatoes, tumeric, salt. (I was missing tumeric and used Garam Masala instead.) Chaat masala -homemade Sev (chickpea flower noodles) I had to skip this step, used garam masala. Fresh veggies inside. Cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, can add beets, chaat, (cheese). I skipped the onions as well. Once you have all the stuff, use soft butter on the white bread. Layer of fresh veggies, layer of potatoes, chutney, another layer of other veggies, top buttered bread. Put in a hot cast iron skillet, pressed down hard so it flattens, get a Hard Fry on it. There is a special square thing that makes a pocket but this works. Top with chutney or toppings or sev. I put all mine inside. |
